Cookies

What we store, and why

A plain-language list of every cookie this site may set, what it does, how long it lives, and which category it belongs to. You can change your choices any time.

What is a cookie?

A small text file your browser stores on our behalf. It carries a few characters at most and is not executable code. We use them to remember things about your session — nothing more.

Categories we use

Strictly essentialAlways active
Required for sign-in, session security, language, and remembering your cookie choice. The site cannot function without them, so they are always active.
Analytics
Help us understand which pages people actually use, so we can make the rest better. We never sell, share, or cross-reference this data.
Preferences
Remember choices that aren't required (display options, dismissed prompts) so the site feels yours next time.
Marketing
Measure how well our outreach (newsletters, paid placements) actually leads anywhere. Off until you say otherwise.

Full list of cookies

We currently set no advertising or third-party cookies, so there is nothing to itemise here. The essential and preference cookies we set ourselves are described by category above.

Third parties

We do not embed third-party scripts that set cookies today. The day we add one (analytics, video player, etc.), the relevant category above must be on before the script loads, and the cookie will appear in the list with the provider clearly named.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can withdraw your consent any time via the button above, ask us what data we hold, and request its deletion. Contact ops@scalarislab.com — we answer within 30 days.
